Library
The library, and our Media Assistant Ms. Bertram, is the heart of Minter Bridge, figuratively and literally. We love books at Minter Bridge and the library is appropriately placed in the middle of our school. Students have one set time per week to visit the library to check out books, listen to new literature and peruse the collection. Additionally, students may spend the first 20 min of the day reading books in the library and we are also offering our first through sixth graders the opportunity to spend their lunch recess in the library reading, playing board games or working on computers.
Ms Bertram also hosts an annual book fair in the library and worked with Ms. Lewis to launch our annual “I love a book” parade on Dr. Suess’ birthday. Many people volunteer in the library but others are always welcome.
The library is a great place to expand your mind!
